About

I'm a Senior Software Engineer with more than 16 years of experience building backend systems, cloud platforms, and software that solves real operational problems. I enjoy working where architecture, reliability, and product intersect, helping teams build systems that are easier to understand, operate, and evolve.

Throughout my career, I've worked on APIs, distributed systems, customer integrations, cloud infrastructure, observability, and developer tooling. More recently, I've become particularly interested in reducing engineering friction through better architecture documentation, internal automation, and AI-assisted development.

I enjoy untangling complex systems, improving the way software is built, and helping engineering teams move faster without sacrificing reliability.

Most of my production experience has been with Ruby on Rails, AWS, React, TypeScript, Go, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and OpenTelemetry. I enjoy learning new technologies whenever they help solve the problem more effectively.

This blog is where I share ideas and lessons learned about software architecture, backend engineering, observability, AI-assisted development, and the practical lessons learned from building production systems.
